The manual process often causes difficulties in recording order data, tracking work progress, and delivering timely information to customers. This research used a descriptive development approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. The system was designed using the prototype method, which includes communication, planning, modeling, construction, and user feedback. Unified Modeling Language was used to describe system interaction and data structure, while interface design was developed for the main page, admin dashboard, service data, order management, and order status monitoring. The results show that the proposed application can organize service and order data, support status updates by administrators, and help customers monitor order progress more transparently. Black box testing on the main functions indicates that the designed pages operate according to the expected scenarios.
Ali Imron, M Riski Qisthiano Copyright (c) 2026 Ali Imron, M Riski Qisthiano https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://mail.journal-computing.org/index.php/journal-cisa/article/view/782 Thu, 17 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0700 The Identification of Student Stress Levels Using the XGBoost Algorithm with Psychological, Physical, Academic, and Environmental Data https://mail.journal-computing.org/index.php/journal-cisa/article/view/785
Student stress is a multidimensional problem influenced by psychological, physical, academic, and environmental factors. This study aims to identify student stress levels using the Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) algorithm, evaluate its classification performance, and determine the most influential variables. The study used the StressLevelDataset containing 1,100 observations, 20 predictor variables, and one target variable representing low, moderate, and high stress. The research stages followed data collection, data understanding, preprocessing, stratified data splitting, baseline modeling, Grid Search hyperparameter tuning, evaluation, and feature importance analysis. The tuned XGBoost model achieved 86.82% accuracy, 86.94% precision, 86.85% recall, and 86.79% F1-score on the test set. Hyperparameter tuning did not materially increase test accuracy, but reduced the training-test accuracy gap from 13.18 to 6.82 percentage points, indicating improved generalization and reduced overfitting. Feature importance identified sleep_quality (32.6%), academic_performance (29.8%), and blood_pressure (19.2%) as the three most influential variables. The results demonstrate that XGBoost can provide a stable data-driven approach for identifying student stress levels.
Muhamad Isa Firdaus, Hilmy Aliy Andra Putra, Muhammad Encep Copyright (c) 2026 Muhamad Isa Firdaus, Hilmy Aliy Andra Putra, Muhammad Encep https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://mail.journal-computing.org/index.php/journal-cisa/article/view/785 Thu, 18 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Perancangan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif Computer Assisted Instruction Model Game di SD N 38 Banyuasin III https://mail.journal-computing.org/index.php/journal-cisa/article/view/783
This study aims to design interactive learning multimedia based on Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) with a game model at SD N 38 Banyuasin III. The research was motivated by the limited use of interactive learning media in elementary-school learning, which may reduce students' attention and active participation. The development process used the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), consisting of concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and literature study, while functional testing was conducted using Black Box Testing. The resulting multimedia includes a main menu, instruction page, learning materials, educational game, evaluation page, score result page, and profile page. The game model was applied through questions, answer choices, score processing, feedback, and the opportunity to repeat learning activities. Testing on 17 functional scenarios showed that all navigation, material, game, evaluation, score, profile, and exit functions worked as expected. Thus, the multimedia is functionally feasible as a learning-support medium, although further research is needed to measure usability and learning effectiveness.
M Riski Qisthiano, Ali Imron Copyright (c) 2026 M Riski Qisthiano, Ali Imron, Meisah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://mail.journal-computing.org/index.php/journal-cisa/article/view/783 Thu, 18 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Perancangan Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru Berbasis Web pada Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Nasional https://mail.journal-computing.org/index.php/journal-cisa/article/view/781
This study aims to design a web-based New Student Admission Information System for Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Nasional. The research addresses manual admission activities that still rely on separated information delivery, paper-based forms, physical document submission, and non-integrated data verification. A descriptive qualitative development approach was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The system was designed using the prototype method through communication, quick planning, quick design modeling, prototype construction, and user feedback. The result is a web-based PMB design involving two main actors, prospective students and administrators, supported by registration, online forms, document upload, verification, announcement, and reporting features. The proposed design provides a clearer workflow, more centralized data management, and a practical basis for future system implementation
M Riski Qisthiano, Ali Imron, Syahrizal Syahrizal Copyright (c) 2026 M Riski Qisthiano https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://mail.journal-computing.org/index.php/journal-cisa/article/view/781 Thu, 17 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Informatika Berbasis Project-Based Learning dengan Pendekatan UI/UX pada SMA Negeri 1 Suak Tapeh https://mail.journal-computing.org/index.php/journal-cisa/article/view/784
This study aims to develop an Informatics learning medium based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) with a UI/UX-oriented design approach at SMA Negeri 1 Suak Tapeh. The product was designed as a printed student worksheet (LKPD) assisted by Canva for the topic of Social Impacts of Informatics. The main problem addressed is the limited availability of computer laboratories and unstable internet access, which requires an unplugged learning medium that remains contextual and project-oriented. This research used a Research and Development method with the ADDIE model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and pretest-posttest activities. The developed LKPD integrates PjBL syntax, Design Thinking, Card UI Design, cyberbullying case analysis, project planning, investigation, monitoring, product creation, presentation, and reflection. The validation results show that the material expert score was 3.60 and the media expert score was 3.70, both in the very feasible category. Descriptive pretest-posttest comparison indicates improved student understanding of digital citizenship, social impacts of technology, and ethical solutions. The findings show that printed LKPD can be an effective Informatics learning alternative when digital infrastructure is limited.
M Riski Qisthiano, Ali Imron Copyright (c) 2026 Ali Imron, M Riski Qisthiano, Rara Violin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://mail.journal-computing.org/index.php/journal-cisa/article/view/784 Thu, 18 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0700
